People who were (or are) debating getting white furniture...
did you decide to do it?
I am just nervous about the paint chipping...I feel like you will see this more than you will see chips in stained wood. Just wanted to see what other peoples thoughts were!

I never even thought of that. I am getting white furniture. Not worried at all.

Re: People who were (or are) debating getting white furniture...
My husband and I have our hearts set on white furniture and we're also very concerned about the paint chipping. I think we'll probably still go with white, but it is definitely a concern and I'm doing my best to research the brands that people don't have as many problems with chipping.
Would love to hear other people's responses!

I'm not getting white but I wanted to let you know about the Guardian Protection Program.
It was offered to us by Sukons when we purchased our furniture.
It's $150 for 5 years and will cover stains, cracking, peeling, etc.
the info is MetroGuardian the tel # is 516-333-3961 www.metroguardian.net
I haven't ordered it yet - I think it might but I still have some time to decide

I have antique white. It has a "vintage" look with some of the paint intentionally removed. I liked the look but I also figure if it gets a chip or nick it will look like it is supposed to be there.

I got white furniture for DD #1 and even though it looks so pretty in her room she chews the paint right off and it looks horrible now. I tried the crib rails and she was able to rip them right off. I think most babies when they are teething will chew on their crib so its something to think about.
