Perdu Perfect Portions chicken - please don't move - possibly power outage related?
Wondering if anyone purchased these in Stop N Shop in Setauket.
We did and I cooked them and they tasted off. I figured it was maybe just me and maybe I ate something prior that made the taste off, so I stored them, didn't let anyone eat them, and then tried again later. Still tasted funny. I threw them out.
It's a long shot, but just wondering.
But hey, if you bought something recently and it tasted funny, maybe post it to help others.

I bought them once a while back and while the taste was ok I thought the consistancy of the meat was "off" kind of grossed me out and I threw them out. So it might just be the product.
I have recently shopped at the Setauket Stop and Shop and everything so far has been fine. I don't think they lost power though. I live right there and we never lost power.

I think its the perfect portions. I have bought them a few time from S&S in ronk, amd the meat is weird. I love perdue, Nd only buy their thin cutlets, so i was bummed these were funky.

I've found all Perdue breasts/cutlets in general to be .
Our S&S actually has an unlabeled brand of chicken that is a much better quality.
Then again maybe it's just my S&S (Babylon).
