perinatologist ?

Hello Ladies I pray some one can help me. I am 6 weeks pregnant and have clotting issues. I went for a consult before I got pregnant and was told I need to be on Levenox as soon as pregnancy is confirmed. I saw a perinatologist who was out of network and agreed to see me for $150 a visit. Things have changed and now that it is time for me to see him I was told it is $150 for the first 12 weeks then $600 a visit for the rest of the pregnancy. I have not seem him yet and am trying to find a different doctor to see.
Here is where I need help. I have to find a perinatologist that will prescribe me the shots right away and not make me wait till there is a problem. By the time they find the a problem it will be too late. I was going to try to see Mastregianis (sp?) but I found out he is retiring. I am so scared I am going to lose this baby. Please can anyone recommend a peri. I live in Babylon and have Empire BC insurance. I have been crying for the past hour trying to figure out how to come up with all the money for the other doctor but I hope I won't have to. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Call MAdonna Perinatal...You will like the Babylon Office, all the Dr's are very very pro active.

YOur OB doesnt have other rec's? Most Pernatologits wont see you without a written ref from your OB first. TELL them you cannot pay out of pocket ( the OB) , or just ask them to give you the rec to Madonna.

I DO NTO LIVE IN lONG ISLAND...BUT I ALSO HAVE A CLOTTING ISSUE AND WAS ON LOVENOX MY WHOLE PREGNANCY. i HAD NO PROBLEMS AND WOUND UP HAVING A HEALTY GIRL VIA C-SECTION
