Period regulating after BCP?
I have been off of birth control pills since April. My cycle length has varied as follows:
Month 1: 34 days Month 2: 25 days Month 3: 27 days Month 4: 23 days
My average is 27 days long.
Does this look wacky to you or am I still regulating? I should also mention my period lasts only 3 days and is very light.
Should I be concerned?

Re: Period regulating after BCP?
Kinda sounds like me, but I'm jealous b/c when I got off BCP (it was also in April) I didn't get AF for almost 2 months and now my cycle is about 38 days. Too Long!
Did you talk to your OBGYN? Mine just said it takes a few months to regulate. Best thing to do is maybe get OPK and do some tests to see if your O.

Oh man that's terrible! Yeah the first one was a killer because I just wanted to know about how long my cycle would be because I had been on BCP forever.
I did use OPKs in the beginning just to see when I was ovulating but since we are not officially TTC yet we just try to avoid my fertile week.
I did go to my OBGYN a couple months ago but then I didn't think it was too wacky. She didn't say much about regulating at all.

Re: Period regulating after BCP?
it took me a long time to regulate, at least 6 months. i still get longer/shorter cycles by a day or 2 if i am stressed over something. the month we closed on our house, i ovulated 3 days early which made my cycle 3 days shorter.

Re: Period regulating after BCP?
Honestly, your cycles are not really THAT off. How long is your luteal phase? (Time between O and your period)

Re: Period regulating after BCP?
I got off BCP Dec 1,2007. It took 75 days to get my first AF!!!! Then 44 days and then it would have been 43 days but instead I got a BFP! Your cycles don't sound that off. I spoke to my doctor when I first came of the BCP and she said it could take a year to regulate. Don't stress. I tried to be patient and it worked! Good Luck!

Re: Period regulating after BCP?
I think that looks pretty good actually! I considered starting a thread for people to start posting their experiences because I having issues and noticed a bunch of other ladies posted about this as well.
Month 1: 30 days Month 2: 42 days, and I'm just getting some brown glop (sorry, TMI)
I talked to my doctor today and it's totally normal to be off. She said once I hit the 6 month mark, if I'm still having issues, see a doctor about it. But I wouldn't consider your cycle all that off.
