Permit..... CHECK!!!!
My dh left the TOB office with the building permit in hand! We applied June 1st and have been waiting for this day!! The ground breaking will be taking place next week. I am so excited, it looks like my dd might really have her own room by her 1st birthday in March!!!
Here is an official BEFORE photo of the land.
ETA the tree to you right was taken down last week.

The permit process is probably the hardest part..... you have no control over it, and you just have to sit and wait for them to give it to you. Plus, after all that wait, all you get is a few pieces of paper... 
The building part is the fun part....

Walking out of town hall my husband could not get over the amount of money the paper in his hands were... between the architect plans and the permit!
