Personal trainer
Has anyone used a personal trainer at a Lucille Roberts? Other than price, how does it work? A few times a week? How long each time? What if you have an appt and can't make it? How were your results?

Re: Personal trainer
I had a personal trainer, but not from LR...
Basically made an appt for three times a week (or more) for 1/2 hr-45 minutes
he also gave me a meal plan to stick too
Had great results, lost 15 lbs and toned up a ton!

Re: Personal trainer
Each trainer is different and many businesses have their own practices and prices change accordingly.
I like to let my clients choose how often they want to train, because I know money can be an issue. I also usually gave a few sessions free if they bought packages. However I would tell them that if they are not training with me, they MUST be doing it on their own of the speed of their progress will be hindered!
You want to train each muscle 2-3 times a week, so depending on how often you train and your goals, will determine how the program is designed.
I never trained my clients more than 45 minutes, the average was 30 min (I am known to go over if we are on a roll and I want to fit in a few more exercises ) But I have my clients MOVING the entire 30 minutes, not much rest, and when you are resting a muscle group, you are working another area in the mean time.
Everyone's different and your eating habits will effect the speed of the process. You probably will early on at least feel a lot better, because your muscles will let you know they are "waking up"
I always tell people, just like any relationship, not all clients fit their trainer and visa versa. Don't be afraid to just do 1 session and see it's for you. However, be open to the fact that over time you both get more comfortable with eachother and beg into build a better rapport.
If you need more help, feel free to FM me!

Re: Personal trainer
I was working with a personal trainer 2 times a week (sometimes 3). We didn't really have a standing appointment - we would make arrangements each week. I am a little surprised at the posts about the length of the sessions - mine were always for an hour.
I had two trainers previously who were only okay. My last one was great - just very very expensive.

That's interesting because I always trained for an hour with mine. It was very expensive.
