I'm currently using them and have been very happy overall. I actually have been seeing sommers for about 6 years and only started seeing halpert during my pregnancy just to get used to both of them so that it won't be strange if Halpert is on duty when I go into labor...
For the most part, we NEVER have to wait more than 20 minutes at any appointment i've ever been to, regular or sonogram appts.... They give me the updates on tests (NT scan, Glucose tolerance, etc) in a very timely fashion which I appreciate b/c I always worry about them...
Overall, DH and I are very happy!

Re: Personal Womens Care - Smithtown/Dr. Sommers
I actually had the complete opposite experience with that office. When I was pregnant (I miscarried) a year ago I used this practice and every time I went there I waited at least 1 hour in the waiting room. only to get put in a room to wait for at least another half hour. They switched my chart THREE times. Each time was with another woman who was not pregnant and they still didn't realize until the other patients said something. In fact I have since switched offices and they still send mail to my address with one of the other patients names When I had my miscarriage they were so cold.. The sono tech said " the heart beat is gone, you're gonna have to go in the other room and talk to Dr. Sommers, there's another patient waiting for a sono" I couldn't make that up! My DH was with me & we couldn't believe it! When we went to talk to Dr. Sommers he saw I was upset and said judging by how upset you are I guess you know whats going on.. Dr. Sommers made me wait a week and a half to have a D&C.. It' was so awful. I LOVE the office I switched to they are amazing, kind and caring. Everyone's experience is different though and I hope that everything works out good for you!
