Personalized beach pail birthday party favors?
Hi,
DD's 2nd bday is coming up early summer and I'm having a small kiddie party for her. Theme/party has nothing to do with the beach but just with the time of year and I know all kids coming are beach kids - do you think doing the favors in the pail instead of a goodie bag is a cute idea?
I saw Party City literally sells the pails for under $2 each so cost is not an issue.
If I want to personalize the pail anyone know the best type of pen to use? Sharpie or do I need some sort of paint pen? I guess I could go into Michael's and ask someone there but I just thought you ladies might know.

I like them as favors. It's cute to fill them with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, etc... You can get it all at the dollar store.

My DS is having a snake/reptile party (he is 4) and I bought pails to use for the favors. I have plastic snakes, animal crackers, frog beach balls, etc inside.

i did this, but not personalized...got everything at party city with a coupon. pail and shovel sets were 99 cents
