Pet friendly vacation
Any thoughts on where we can go for a couple of days and take our small 10 lb Maltese with us? We would consider driving 5 or 6 hours as long as there may be something to do during the day. Thanks.

Re: Pet friendly vacation
We recently brought our dog with us to Baltimore and had fun walking him along the harbor area and historic district. There is also a path to walk in Fort McHenry that allows pets. Very dog friendly city and about a 5-6 hour drive.
We are considering taking him with us to our trip to Niagara Falls. It seems you can walk your pet in certain areas there.

Bucks County Pa is very pet friendly. There are hotels and even some B and B's that allow pets. It is about a 2- 3 hour drive. Great little town with cute shops and restaurants.

How many hours is Vermont? Here's a cute place I found online: Pet friendly hotel
We tried out Hither House in Montauk last month and were pretty happy with it. The East Cottage wasn't the most up-to-date but it was clean and just fine for us.
