Pet peeve-people talking on the phone while in a public restroom

I hate hate hate this.

I just left the ladies room at my office and for the second time in about a week, someone is in another stall talking on the phone.

Not only do I think that is disrespectful to the person with whom you are talking, but, I do not want my tinkle heard by this other person.

I think it is disgusting and I flush the toilet 4 or 5 times to interfere with your conversation.

I do think it is off-putting to be physically IN the stall and talking. I have ducked into the bathroom to take a call privately and speak low, but I wouldn't jibber jabber, especially if there were other people in the bathroom. I would just leave.

ETA: I used to have a friend in college who would bring her phone in the communal bathroom so her boyfriend could "hear" her do her business Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

The germs alone involved freak me out! And its just plain nasty. Never ask to use a co-workers phone. you just never know where it has been.Chat Icon

It doesn't happen here too much but I hate when it does. Chat Icon

Ugh someone just did that yesterday in the bathroom at work... I totally should have taken that suggestion and flushed the toilet 5 times. Chat Icon

Start quoting (loudly) from Austin Powers:

Who does Number Two work for? Who does Number Two work for?
