PetSmart Pet Hotel?
I need a place for my babies while DH and I go on vacation for 3 nights .
I'm afraid of "traditional" boarders...has anyone used PetSmart's Pet Hotel?
Thoughts?
Thanks.

Re: PetSmart Pet Hotel?
My mom has used them numerous times to board her english springer spaniel. She uses the one in Huntington by the Walt Whitman mall. Her dog always looks happy when they pick him up. No complaints from her...

Re: PetSmart Pet Hotel?
Thank you for responding! Being that we would leave our baby (it would be the puppy only, cat can stay with someone) I'm extremely apprehensive. But DH was won over by the video on their website...not the most un-biased source, but we'll see after the visit...not too many options in this area.

Re: PetSmart Pet Hotel?
is it going to be in Georgia?
I HIGHLY recommend using Wag-a-lot! they are in Buckhead- if you don't mind the drive... they are so worth it. They are on Northside drive...
the dogs are automatically enrolled in daycare-so they are not in a crate all day- you have a choice between a crate or a "den". The zen den is a large space just for for your dog-
I HATED leaving Boogie anywhere, I was so nervous. but being in Ga by ourselves we had no choice but to leave him somewhere when we went away or went back to CT for weekends...
They were so great. I would call a few times a day and checked on him. They knew him and me by name... they were so loving to him! When I would drop him off-he would get a little nervous with all the other dogs-so someone would hold him for awhile to calm him down and they would take him right outside away for the other dogs, until he got comfortable.
they have a sep. area for big dogs and little dogs.
I can't recommend them enough!
they also have a webcam so you can see your dog live all day until they go to sleep!

fm me with any questions...
eta: I wish it was when we were still here, I would have watched your baby!

NICOLE!!!
Where are you? What do you mean "I wish we were still here"?
Yes, in GA, and no, we don't mind the drive. The PetsHotel is in Duluth anyway, pretty far.
We never got together?

Re: PetSmart Pet Hotel?
so sad... maybe when you come back north for a visit... we will ABSOLUTELY be coming back to GA at some point. Turns out WE LOVED it here- I don't want to go! I remember crying because I didn't want to be here...and now I don't want to leave! Thanks for all of your support too! I wish I could have watched your little guy for you! He would have loved playing with Boogie!
Def. try wag a lot- they aren't cheap, but honestly, I felt very comfortable leaving him there ...

Re: PetSmart Pet Hotel?
Two thumbs up...very seamless. Scruffy was a good boy and we even paid for extra time play time. They are really good at PetSmart...
