PG 8w5d, baby is 8w 2d
Stupid question, but thats what my dr told me yesterday. What does that mean? The baby is measuring 3 days behind? Is that normal? Why would that happen? He said everythings perfect but I'm just wondering.

That's normal - the ultrasound measurements are +/- 5 days.

When I was supposed to be 9 wks, the baby was 8 wks 3 d...I have longer than 28 day cycles so the md said that's why.

Not all babies grow exactly at the same rate, just like kids don't. Mine have been all over the map measuring a couple days behind or a couple days ahead. As long as they are close to where they should be everything's fine!
