PG hormone and psoriasis
I have psoriasis on my legs. It was never extremely bad but it has gotten worse over the years. Well, with both PG's it all went away completely! It was wonderful. Now, after my PG it's worse than ever. It happened with Caiden as well. It was so bad I couldn't wear shorts all summer. My legs look horrible and to me it just looks gross. I've been to a Dermatologist after Caiden and their lotion didn't help. Obviously there is some kind of hormone while your PG that makes Psoriasis go away completely. My skin was beautiful. So why isn't there a product/prescription with the same hormone in it that you can take or put on to control it? Sorry... just needed to vent!

I swear they need to bottle and market that pregnancy hormone! I used to get pimples all the time, one would come and go and another would come ot take it's place. I also got it pretty bad one time on my jawline and the red scars are still there. But when I got pg, right around 8 weeks, my face cleared up SO WELL that I actually could go around without make up!! I was so happy since I used to use salicylic acid lotion on my face and my OB said to stop, but I didn't even have any reason to use it! And it lasted until 2 months after DS was born. Now it's going back to the pits, I'm going to talk to the OB about it and see what we can do b/c I know it was the hormones that helped my face.

Re: PG hormone and psoriasis
My husband has horrible psoriasis and there is only one medicine that helped him. Also make sure you're using all unscented products. He likes Aveeno unscented body wash. I have to find out the name of the cream. FM me to remind me to look when i go home? I'm sorry you are dealing with this.
