PG people everywhere
let the game continue... I worked from 10-5 and I saw 3 girls in my area alone who were well past thier 6+ month mark. I just wanted to scream "IM JEALOUS, TELL ME YOUR SECRETS! WHY YOU & NOT ME?" but, instead I just walked away Score for the day is 3!

Re: PG people everywhere
I know you're frustrated and I totally understand. When are you testing again? You're still not out yet. When I got my BFP last time, I had tested 1 day before AF was due and got a BFN. I just went ballistic. I was crying and yelling at DH that it was never going to happen and if I cant get PG having s e x when I ovulate then when will I...and I just went on and on and threw myself this gigantic pity party only to get a BFP 2 days later
Point is, maybe all this anger and frustration will just be a bad memory soon Im still hoping this is your month!!!!

Re: PG people everywhere
I so feel your pain!!! I work in the vaccine industry calling on all Pediatricians. So all i see everyday is a dozen newborns and tons of pregnant women in the office w/ another child on their way.
It is such a ****** feeling....Seeing all these women pregnant...knowing we want it so bad too! Or the new mom with their newborns... .
I always wonder was it a struggle too for them? or were they the women fortunate enough to get pregnant the first time. I also see so many twins in the offices I call on for work....so then i think..."those women probably had fertility treatments". I guess we will never know who struggled to have their baby and who didn't.
I still cannot comprehend the "everything happens for a reason". It does make me wonder....is it b/c god is saying i am not ready...have we done something wrong, or is it so we can just have a healthy child. WHAT is the reason why some are blessed so easily why for others it is a challenge. What really gets me is the women who do not even want to have a child and get pregnant and choose another path....then why couldn't it be me.
Sorry to vent on you thread!
I think it is something though i see and think about often too.
P.S. Heather...Af hasn't arrived yet, right? The same thing that happened with Lisa...happened with me.. MY BFP did not show up till a few days after my missed period. Well lot's of babydust to you!!

Re: PG people everywhere
I totally relate. Yesterday I was at a baptism and there were babies everywhere. I got stuck at a table with 2 pregnant ladies!!!!! And all the talked about was the baby (which i cant blame them) - then i was holding the baby and someon yells out- hey Enza what are you waiting for your are not getting any younger? i wanted to say I am waiting for my second miscarriage in the past year and a half to pass..... That would have shut him up!!!!!

Re: PG people everywhere
I totally understand...they are all over the place! I was walking around the city yesterday and I felt like I saw a hundred preggo ladies. It's crazy how much more aware we are. Hang in there...you're not out yet for this month

Re: PG people everywhere
I think you make some great points! I too have been asking the same questions when I see pregnant women (did they have a hard time, etc). I also wonder the same things about myself: Did i do something wrong? Does G-d think I'm not ready? Do I have to prove that I am ready? Is anyone ever really ready? I know they say that things are out of our hands and that things happen for a reason, BUT WHAT IS THE REASON???? I know that I have asked this question many times in my life when something doesn't go the way I had hoped, some times I found out why (granted months or years later, although I'm not really sure if they really are the reason or I was just trying to find comfort) or I never found out the reason. The whole thing is so frustrating and it really makes you think. I'm so grateful that we are all in this together.

Re: PG people everywhere
I went to a wedding on Saturday and saw at least 3 pregnant ladies. I complained to DH, and he was like "Oh, I just thought they were fat" Dude - these ladies are all IN or close to their third trimester!! Who gains weight JUST in their stomach like that? Such a guy.

Re: PG people everywhere
I think he was just trying to make you smile. I know it's so hard! I can't imagine what our DHs goes through with us. I always have something to say when I see a preggo person or a person with a newborn. I know my DH already has quick comebacks all ready for when I start saying things. I think it helps but that's just me.

Re: PG people everywhere
I completely understand where you're coming from. In the midst of TTC my first pregnancy (which ended in a m/c), four different people announced to me that they were PG. I had to shop for about 4 baby gifts at one time, and spent an afternoon at Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us. It was awful! They all just had their babies within the past 3-4 weeks. I have a new niece, who I love, but I really want to give her a cousin!
Also, I work with preschoolers, and throughout my career have worked with parents who cannot stop getting PG if they tried, and have no means to support their children, or have multiple children in foster care. It is so frustrating.
I always try to live my life thinking that if it's meant to be, it will be, or when the time is right, it will happen, but my beliefs are being challenged these days!

Re: PG people everywhere
TOTALLY AGREE. They are everywhere. DH tries to lift my spirit but I have never seen so many pg people in my life. I guess we just notice things a lot more.
Everyone around me is pregnant. I cant even leave the house without seeing someone. AHHH it drives me crazy. I work with children everyday (I'm a Teacher) and I cant stop myself from thinking..."god I work with other peoples children yet I cant have one of my own" Very fustrating. All my friends have children and boy what a conversation that is. "hows the baby" and then I get "how are you handling your 2nd m/c". We just need to hang in there and have faith that our time will come too even if it doesnt come so quickly. I know it is hard to grasp but that is all i know and can share.
My brother just had his second baby (little girl) and they chose me to be the god-mother. I was telling DH I hope I make it through the christianing without a nervous breakdown or crying the entire time. Even though I love the baby and am honored to be the godmother it is going to be so hard.
Its amazing how some people get PG so quickly and others have to endure such pain. I wish you the best in TTC.

Re: PG people everywhere
I am so glad I am not the only one who feels this way! I feel like so many people around me are PG and it's a constant reminder of what I've lost.
Here's hoping we all get our BFP's again soon.
