All my friends with two kids have them now and really love them...in the UK they run a bit cheaper than they do in the states...I think we pay about £350 ($700) for them.

That would bump it right up to $900.

Re: phil and teds double stroller...
which model are you looking at? The one's I've seen are much less than $900.
I can't seem to find any double that I like. I was considering this P&T's sport buggy that converts to a double, but it has its drawbacks.
I'm hoping that by May, some better options come along...

Re: phil and teds double stroller...
I love the Phil and Ted's Lisa posted. My only concern with that was, knowing Lauren's personality now, she would not like to be in that back seat underneath Andrew..... I have the Sit and Stand and it really worked well for us, particularly since Andrew doesn't mind being in a stroller and Lauren sits up front and can look around. It was only $115 when we got it and we'll be using it for 2+ years. DOwnside is that it is a little heavy and bulky, but not nearly as much as a traditional double, like the Graco Duoglider.

Re: phil and teds double stroller...
they're all over ebay (new) and plenty of other sites for $400-500
$379 + 99 for the tandem
$435 on ebay
$489 at tinyride.com
I like the sit & stand idea, but I think Ella will be too young for it, since she tends to falls asleep in the stroller.

Re: phil and teds double stroller...
I have one and so do a lot of my friends, all of us have been pretty happy with it. It takes up so much less space than a regular double, and rides very smooth. I've used it as a single for about a year, DD#2 was just born, so I'll have to report back on the double usage!
They are also available on Amazon.com with the doubles kit for $489.

Re: phil and teds double stroller...
I've been thinking about this one too. It's expensive, but I'm hoping that then I'd be able to get away with having just one stroller. I want something that rides smooth for walks outside and stuff.
Calla-how compact does it fold up? Would it be easy to take in and out of the car?

Re: phil and teds double stroller...
I live in the City and everyone has them. I love them...when we have #2 this is the stroller I will be getting. My neighbor has one and loves it. BBB sells them for way under $900.
