Philosophy- Hope In A Jar
I got a jar of an original formula at Sephora few days ago, this is my first time using it. So far I REALLY like it but the smell  OMG I hate it! I am considering returning it bc of the smell, DH hates it too and even DD . I just put her down to sleep and she said" eww mama, what's that smell?! I don't like it, it's gross" and she begged me to take the cream off

Wow, that is really strange! I have been using Philosophy for years and never had a problem with the smell( I am very sensitive to smells) I wonder if you just got a bad jar?

So weird - I was just reading the reviews of this on Sephora.com and so many of them mentioned the smell! I swear, I was like "hmmm - these people must be crazy b/c Philosophy always has the best smelling products."
If it's that bad, I'd have to return it - I have a very sensitive nose.

I know, I read somewhere that the company keeps getting complaints about the smell of this product , but they can't really help it bc of the ingredients.... It didn't really bother me at first, I put it on first few times and I def didn't think it was that bad. But then one night I was trying to fall asleep and I couldn't stand the smell (I only use it at night) I really like how it makes my skin look and the smell I hate , but isn't THAT bad to me to make me stop using it, but it seems to really bother DH and DD (and DH is not the type to ever say anything about things like this)
This morning DD gave me a kiss (after I had already washed my face and put my morning moisturizer on) and she said " mama your face doesn't smell bad any more!"

ITA my mil bought me a jar for christmas and the smell makes me sick! you are not alone!

I hate the smell too I think it smells like old lady cream. My SIL has it too and the smell doesn't bother her

I bought Miracle Worker and it smells gross too! I was looking forward to looking forward to putting it on every day, but that isn't the case! I've broken out quite a lot from it too!
