Phone for kids to use camera and apps?
I would like to get a phone for my kid just to download apps and take pictures. Nothing expensive or fancy. I will only be using WiFi so I don’t need to add the phone to an internet or phone plan. I’d rather get this than get an IPad which I can’t afford right now. Any reccs?

Phone for kids to use camera and apps?
We gave our DD one of our old iphones. Do you have an extra phone laying around? It’s only connected through wifi so she can download apps, use the camera function and cam imessage me and my DH.

My friend did the exact same thing with her son. works great and serves the purpose.

I didn't want to give DD an Ipad either- way too expensive.
I got her a cheap Samsung tablet and she plays games on it with apps and watches her nonsense You Tube videos.
It has a camera too.

That is what both our kids started out with. In wifi it is the same as a phone except you can only FaceTime

This is exactly what we did too. Got the icloud family plan or whatever it is so they can use it on Wifi for apps and take pics. They can text too only on wifi with their icloud email.
Gave them out iPhone 6 we had.
