Photography degrees?? Please help..
I have a friend who would like to get a degree in photography so he could move on to forensic photography. Does anyone know of any schools either in NY or CT that offer programs for photography. Ive been looking and looking and I cant find anything. Thanks so much!

I was a photo major at Nassau actually. They have a very good lab.

NYU has a photography major, as does SUNY Purchase. Buffalo State, FIT, and New Paltz also have degrees in photography. As a caution, it's hard to get a job with that degree if the forensic side does not work out. I was a student advisor for a few years.

What about John Jay School of Criminal Justice (Bklyn - CUNY) - instead of paying $$$ for photo classes, they could spend less focusing on criminal/foresenic studies.

I think most colleges have photo programs (I almost minored in photo at Hofstra), or there are also art/trade schoo programs.
Five Towns College has a lot of arts programs.

I know a few people who graduated from there & they raved about the Program. Also FIT used to have a great Photo degree.
