Photoshop or Illustrator Experts: Help!
I'm very new to both these programs. Is there an easy way to take a piece of clipart that is inked in black and turn it into another color? I was told if I use the lasso, it could be done, but it seems so tedious and time consuming. Is there an easier way? TIA!!

It really depends you can try and use the paint tool if you have a steady hand. What format is the clip art in?

I believe its a jpeg. Its just a clipart I found on google of an angel, but its done in black ink. Wondering if I can switch it over to pink or something. Any ideas?

I used the magic wand, inverted the selction & then used paint bucket to do it:
