Physical Therapist

I have to make an appointment with a physical therapist, and I called my insurance company to see what doctors they dealt with.

They gave me two around my house. Has anyone gone to either of these places or heard about them?

Thanks,
Scott

Peter Chidichimo from Hicksville

and

Janet Ottaiano from East Meadow

I can understand why he is saying that. If you are still in the acute phase and have extensive damage, he may not want you to do any exercises or stretches at this point.

That why I was telling you to do it later on when you feel better or as "preventive" measures.

When you call the PT, they are going to ask to talk to the Dr about what they can and cannot do with you.

I don't know the PT you mentioned. Sorry!

Don't you need a referal for a PT? Most insurance plans, even if they don't have a referal system/plan, need a referal to go to the PT.

Did you check with your insurance?

Then call the PT and set an appt. Tell them what your chiro said about no stretches and that he was not too hot about you going to a PT. But you wanted another opinion or another professional to look at it and work with you.

PT work a lot with "prescription/referal" from Dr. so they know what to do as a therapy plan.
