Picking out names
Has anyone really clashed with DH when trying to decide a name? So far we can't even decide on anything we feel neutral about let alone one we both really like. Not to mention we are not finding out the sex so we have to come up with a boy & girls name. I feel at this rate our litte baby shall be nameless!

Same here. Andrew wasn't named until they wheeled me into the OR for the c/s.
This time around, we decided to find out the gender to make it 50% easier. Well, what a laugh It's even harder now. Especially for a girls name. It figures we had a boys name picked out and we are having a girl. We are on total opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to girls names.
I have a feeling I will be in the OR again when he lets me have my way and agrees on a name I like

Re: Picking out names
Oh Yes! We only agree on a couple of names so far. He thinks all of the names I picked are "weird" what is so weird about Lily????
If it's a boy, I left it up to him to decide if he wants to name him after himself. So, I think I should have a little more pull with a girls names, but he doesn't agree

I tried the whole I'll pick out the girls name you pick out a boys name and he wasn't happy with that either. Silly men! We carry the babies I think we should have more say.

Re: Picking out names
we've had our girls name picked for years so that was easy, but boys names have been tough. Particularly when Al comes up with winners like "Otto"
fortunately he likes SOME of the names I like too (though I couldn't talk him into Ethan), so we've got a short list and we'll decide when we see the baby. Al's a JR so I'm just glad he didn't want to go for a III...

I love the name Lily
We actually are having a pretty easy time but we have like 5 names of each and can't narrow it down!
