Pics from Megan's 1st Birthday!
We had a great party yesterday - the weather was fantastic and Megan had a great time - wish i had more pics - family took most of them and I hope I get some jpgs from them - here's what we took
I made the cake and cupcakes myself using the wilton 3 d cupcake pan - it was really easy!
Megan had just woken up from a nap, had happy birhtday sung to her by a huge crowd and had this giant cake placed in front of her(which for all she knew, could taste like broccoli!) - she was a little overwhelmed!
But then she really got into it!

I love the decorations on the cake and cupcakes - where did you get them?
I made them out of fondant - it was really easy - Michaels and AC moore sell already colored fondant and fondant cutters (basically cookie cutters) You roll out the fondant with a good old fashioned rolling pin and cut out the shapes in the fondant with the cookie cutters and just stick them on top of each other...It took about 30 minutes (mostly b/c I was figuring it out)
