Re: Pics of Candy Bars

I made these myself..used heavier paper, printed on a laser printer, wrapped the bars in foil and then glued the ends around the bar. This one is crooked..it was the test one.

I bought a bunch of Low and tall--2 of each shape such as cylinder, round, hurricane etc and then there were bowls with various chocolate, plates of cookies, goldfish, a house of salt water taffy..This is a part of what it looked like...table was too long I just took the whole table and made it desert heaven for the kids.

My tips---
Also instead of doing it wedding style where you have the same color candies displayed I noted that the candies that would "look" pretty, kids tended not to like them as much so buy accordingly.....Also I chose not to buy candies that would choke, i bought gummy sour candies that were soft (round ones but disolve), I just had a fear of some unsupervised kid getting a jaw breaker.....so i didnt buy those.

Just a warning--I am still having parents complainChat Icon

Beautiful!! Thanks so much! Did you put the little baggies on the table for the kids to put their candies in?

Yes I had blue take out boxes for boys and flower bags with a flower tie for the girls. I think I was way too detailed lol

Re: Pics of Candy Bar Set Up

Those are beautiful but I would try to go with unbreakable containers of sorts. It's never as organized as you'd imagine when kids (and candy!) are involved. Fun idea! My kids would love it.
