picture help (photoshop help maybe)
how can i take the logo only from this picture? I am trying to have the black logo with a large pale pink background? I can't figure out how to do it? Image Attachment(s):

You'll want to find the largest file size possible for your original. If you use this one, once you isolate the logo, if you blow it up much at all it will become very pixelated.
First make sure the image is not a background layer, you cannot have tranparency in a background layer. If it is a background layer, double click on the layer and it will become layer 0. To isolate it you can use your lasso selection tool and remove the unwanted areas, then go to SELECT>COLOR RANGE, select in the white area, accept the selection. Then delete the selected area.
You will probably have to do some cleaning up, to delete grays.
Make a new layer, move it below Layer 0 and fill it with the pink color you want.
