Pictures Only! Christmas Cookies Thread.
Please post PHOTOS of your favorite Christmas cookies. I want to start planning my baking/cookie choices and have the usual lists of choices but lately I need pictures to convince me! I thought it would be fun to share.
My two favorites: 3 layer cookies and almond horns.

If I can spare some freezer space I may mix up some batter in a few weeks so that I can just bake them off later since I'll be a million months pregnant or have a newborn at christmas.
My two favorites from last year that would probably do well with freezing are soft ginger cookies and M&M cookies
For DH who is gluten free I may try thesechocolate brownie cookies
And I think I'm going to try to make convert these to gf somehow and make them for thanksgiving Salted caramela nd chocolate pecan pie bars

Rainbow cookies are a definite every year.
Then, I try three or four new recipes. These are the ones I'm thinking of doing:
Nutella Cookie Cups
Snickerdoodles
Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies
Magic Christmas Bars
Red Velvet Truffle Bars

I'll add some more I want to make this year:
Orange Juice-Sprinkle Cookies, Pignoli Cookies, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip (more for thanksgiving than christmas though), and Nature Cookies.

Orange Juice-Sprinkle Cookies, Pignoli Cookies, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip (more for thanksgiving than christmas though), and Nature Cookies.

I made the chocolate brownie cookies I posted and I just want to say they are sooo good. Gooey and delicious! They're gluten free but definitely something any chocolate lover would love.
