Pictures with my new camera
So...I bought a digital SLR camera after reading many reviews from this board. I went with the Nikon D40X. I am a point and shoot type of person and I know I have alot to learn...I think I have to grow into this camera. But...here are a few shots and I think they are 100 times better than any picutes with my old digital.
What do you think?

get a speed light, makes an even bigger difference. i have the nikon sb-400 for my d40.

I did get the speedlight....I had it pointing up towards the ceiling so it didn't flash in her eyes. Should I do something different?
