It's a horrible dress for her but I really like that he stands by his wife. She used to be so much smaller. I am glad he did not just leave her.

I'm sorry but this statement is really rubbing me the wrong way. I think it's horrible that people would say they're glad he didn't leave her -that that would be the assumption - cause she got heavy?? Everything I've ever read about him points to him being a sensitive, intelligent, family man. He was with his first wife for years and she died of cancer. It just bothers me that anyone would think to make this statement.

She did gain weight, but I think she looks good. She's very pretty and I like that dress, although it looks a bit too low cut.

I agree. It's almost offensive to me.
