Pig ears
I have an 8 lb Maltese and have always been careful about anything that is hard and he can break pieces off. My friend's chihuahua loves pig ears. I would appreciate any opinions.

Re: Pig ears
I only give my dog pig ears or chew hooves. They don't gum up and if they break anything off it's small pieces. They are much safer than rawhide or Greenies.

Re: Pig ears
Be careful what you give your dog.
ALso, don't give them chew toys that are from other countries. Make sure the label says" made in the USA".
Ones that are not made here are covered with a weird type of coating that can make your pet get sick.

Re: Pig ears
Murphy was getting to the point where he was getting big pieces off the pig ears and swallowing them whole. Also I heard they were very fatty too.
There is actually a product like pig ears but made of soy.

I would love to know where you can get these. I never knew you can get them and Peanut loves the pig ears but I am nervous to ever give them to her. Our friends always bring her presents and someone bought her a pig ear and gave it to her, and she loved it but I am not thrilled with her having them.

Re: Pig ears
I actually have been giving Sammy a pig's tail when I leave him alone lately. He loves this. It's called Texas Toothpick by a company called Merrick and he loves it.

Here you go! Petco might have them too but I'm not sure.
