Pimple like spots on face

My son had a red spot on his face yesterday...it was pretty red and had a white spot in the middle (like the head of a pimple). Then another small red spot popped up with no white center.

Today he has another spot on his cheek, red with a white center, plus the other two. No spots anywhere else. He is sticking his finger in his ear...his ears were checked on Sat and the dr said he was fine.

Any ideas what the spots may be? He did have the 2nd dose of the flu shot on Sat.


ETA: This is my 18 month old. I am going to bring him to the dr, just wanted to see if anyone had ideads

My DS is 7 weeks and gets the same things. They are little pimples. Try not to touch them too much. When you give baths just use the warm washcloth to exfoliate them a bit.
