Pink spotting -- update #2 at bottom
There was just a little bit of pink when I wiped (almost like pink CM). Does this mean what I'm worried it means? I didn't have any extra cramping or anything (just the same twingy aches I've been having for over a week). I should call my dr when they open, right)
Eta: or do I call their emergency line, since they don't open until 9?

I have had spotting several times before in this and prior pregnancies. I would call the doctor. They always told me to rest, hydrate, and not to worry unless you get cramping and bright red spotting. Otherwise, it could be totally normal, like implantation spotting.
--Saw your follow up question- I would not call the emergency line now since they will be there in less than two hours and pink spotting is not necessarily a bad thing. Nor can they really do anything other than a sonogram to check you. Call the emergency line if the bleeding gets red and/or heavier, and if you start cramping. hang in there.

Spotting could mean nothing or soemthing. I know that's not the answer you want but plenty of us have spotted and it can be completely normal and others it was not good news. The only thing you can really do is try to relax. Call the dr when they open and just try to relax as much as possible.

This - I spotted on and off with DS1 until I was about 20 weeks.
With DS 2 - I bled pretty badly at 5 and 13 weeks.
Hang in there - it's stressful!

Thanks. I'm going to call my dr as soon as they open at 9. Hopefully they will have me come in for something.
It's also my birthday today... Not what I wanted to have happen today!

 so sorry but happy birthday!! I know what your going through as you know from my posts! They open in 20 more min I'm sure all is ok. I was told as long as your not cramping or bleeding bright red, it's fairly common to spot but I totally get your anxiety over this! Keep us posted!!

Pink spotting
the dr's office said that it is very normal and that I should just monitor it, and if I start bleeding more and/or get period-like cramps I should let them know. they won’t do any sort of scan yet.

Had the same spotting at 6 weeks. Dr didnt even see me. Told me it was normal but to just moniter it. My dd is almost 7 years old. Try to remain positive. Pregnancy is sometimes scary.

I had bright red bleeding with both of my pregnancies early on. No cramping. Scary, for sure, but could be quite "normal." Today I have a 3 and 1 year old. Bleeding during pregnancy doesn't always mean the worst.

the spotting is now more bright red then pink and i feel like i am having some period-like cramps. im on hold with my drs office now...

They did an internal. She saw that my uterus was thickening, which is what she'd want to see, but couldn't see anything else - but she wasn't surprised by that at all and warned us (my husband was able to reschedule his afternoon to come with me) beforehand that she would be unlikely to see anything. I had blood drawn today and am going for a repeat on Wednesday, so she can see if my numbers are doubling.

Just over 5 weeks.
But as of this morning the bleeding is now dark red like a period. So I guess that's probably it.
