Beware of the store on the UES....
Rats Invade Pinkberry Yogurt Shop

MyFoxNY.com -- Pinkberry's frozen yogurt is popular with people -- and rats.
The vermin were seen scurrying around the Upper East Side store Sunday morning. Rats were also a few from the yogurt machine, and that's not far from bins of fresh fruit toppings.
Owners said they shocked by the discovery and have since sanitized all their New York outlets.
However, word of the mice didn't seem to stop people from lining up outside the shop, which is on 82nd Street and Second Avenue.
A few months ago, cameras captured swarms of rats inside a KFC/Taco Bell in the West Village.
The Health Department closed that eatery.

OMG...I live 2 blocks from there...so gross. I don't like the yogurt there...but still...we know this goes on but to here about it like this...just disgusting!

My DH delivers to lots of restaurants, many being upscale. he said that you wouldn't believe the unsanitary conditions of not only the kitchens but the food storage areas. And these are so-called upscale plases.

seriously- I worked in some nice places in the city and I would count my tip money with my feet off the floor

i live a few blocks from there too and walk by on my way to tasty-delite and the line is always CRAZY! little did people know...

Well so am I 
I saw this on the news it's not something I would like to see while eating my yogurt and if I did see it while waiting on line... I would turn around... but im sure i'd be back.... I eat Taco Bell after all
