Pixie? Wee Friends? (Wantagh)
We went to look at both today. I liked them both. Any input or experience from anyone?
My 6th grade teacher is a teacher at Pixie, which was really funny. The school I really wanted to get Ale in doesn't have any room available....

Both of mine have been going to Wee Friends since they were 2 and really like it. I know people who've done Pixie and are happy there too.
My next door neighbor teaches Kindy in Levittown and says that in her opinion kids coming out of Wee Friends into her class are a little more along education wise than Pixie, but it's not a huge difference and they all catch up quick in kindergarten. She said that she would send her grandkids to either school and not worry about it.

Ok, I am clueless. What are these?Preschools? We need to start looking for a program for DS in the fall, he will be 3.

thanks for posting about centerisland. the rates are really good and I like that it is in a school building. I am in Seaford son it would convenient to go to Plainedge!

Pretty sure the office at Wee Friends is closed until after Labor Day (school starts Sept 13) but I'll pull out the rate sheet and FM it to you later today.
