Pizza in the Wantagh/Seaford/Mass. Area?
Where do you get your pizza if you live in those areas?
So far, we've tried: Phils Spasso's Papalardos Saporito Umberto's Mario's on Sunrise
We haven't been happy with any of them.
Can you suggest a pizza place? TIA!

Re: Pizza in the Wantagh/Seaford/Mass. Area?
Cherrywood pizza, the grandma pizza is yummy or we go to Anna's pizza in North Bellmore in the CVS shopping Center. DH is from Brooklyn and say the pizza from Anna's is very similiar to the Brooklyn pizza he grew up on from Christina's in Mill Basin, Brooklyn.

For regular pie I like Stella's on Merrick Rd. It's in Bellmore but just over the border from Wantagh.
For Grandma pie I like Prince Umberto's on Wantagh Ave in Wantagh.

Re: Pizza in the Wantagh/Seaford/Mass. Area?
It's in East Meadow, but...
Mama Theresa's has THE BEST pizza I've ever had. Like, to the point that whenever DH flies back to NY for business, I will not let him back in the house if he doesn't have a few slices for me!
It's on Hempstead Tpke, just west of Rt. 106. It's in the small strip in front of Walmart. Try it, it is SOOOOOO good!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Pizza in the Wantagh/Seaford/Mass. Area?
I grew up in that area and do not live far from there now, my thoughts for what it is worth. Phils -delish specialty slices like mozz and tomatoe. Also great little eat in spot for pasta. Spasso's-was just there this week, I love the Chicken Franchaise slice but prices have gone insane. Papalardos-Last time I was there I think I was singing Tiffany music, definitly a great old school place but I heard it's changed. Saporito-hum, never heard of. Umberto's-I love the original one but after a couple of times there the reg slice in not so special. Mario's-excellent chicken sandwiches.
So many places so little time, I would keep looking nothing blows me away either. All have good/bad but if you are looking for a good slice let me know when you find it. I found an amazing sciclian slice by me after months of searching too!Takes time!

Every time I eat at Phil's I get sick.
Mario's is good and Umberto's is a winner too.
