place in Nassau to donate health/beauty/food items?

I am in Western Nassau and through use of coupons have acquired waaaaaaaay too much stuff that we'll never use and could be better used for people in need. I donate all of my food to my church food pantry. Where can I donate Kotex, razors, shampoo, etc.? I just searched for women's shelters but can't find anything.... I thought maybe one of you volunteers at one or knows of one that takes donations of real items...

i would imagine the church would take these as well? i don't see why not. . . . .

my mom volunteers at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary in Roosevelt and people come in DAILY asking for clothes and things, i am sure they could use toiletries and what not as well.

Yeah, I donate a bunch of that stuff to church already.... but their pantry is pretty much all food... I asked and they said it's a pretty well off neighborhood and the pantry doesn't get much use (which is a good thing!)....rather than overstocking their shelves, I'd rather find a place more in need to split the donation...

Let me see if I can dig up the contact info. They always need everything.

The charity is the INN. Interfaith Nutritional Network.

At the time we donated they needed clothes, toiletry items..anything.
