place that does keratin that actually WORKS it through hair?

not sure if this makes sense but im looking for a place that is relatively inexpensive. maybe i'll forgo price for beauty, lol. i recently paid 250 for a keratin treatment and the lady sprayed it into my hair and then dried it a bit, then flat-ironed. i have spoken to some friends whose hairdressers actually brush the keratin treatment into hair, soaking it, THEN just flat-ironing it. i'm assuming this way lasts longer.

does anyone go to a salon in suffolk that does this? if so can you share the name and price?

The place I go to is in Bethpage, but they section your hair, squirt (why do I feel dirty using that word now?) the solution on with a dye bottle and then comb it through with a rat tail comb. They then let it sit for about 20 minutes, blow dry it, and then flat iron it in very small sections.

I pay $200 and it lasts anywhere from 4 to 6 months

I got it done at Cactus in Commack and my hairdresser thoroughly worked it through my hair. It came out awesome and they were doing a special - it was $175 and included a big sulfate free shampoo & conditioner.

I get it done at Off 7th Salon on Mark Tree Rd. in Centereach. I see Leeanne and she combs it through my hair and does a wonderful job with it.

I go to Blonde-D's in North Babylon. I think it's normally $175 but it's 10 or 15% off if you do it on a Tues or a Wed. HTH!
