I just got a call from the Dr's office telling me that yesterdays heavy bleeding episode was a result of my placenta seperating from the uterus and there is blood behind it. The question now is if it will heal or cause me to lose the pregnancy. I am petrified!! Has anyone else ever dealt with this before???
I believe it's called a subchorionic hemmorage. I had it early on with this PG and with my last PG. My younger son is now 4 yrs old and I'm now 32w PG. Most of the time it absolves itself. I've always been told not to worry that it will correct itself. But of course I always worry! Just don't do anything stressful on your body. My doctor didn't even tell me to take it easy, but other people on here have been told that.
