I always used to go to the Getty Quick Lube (or something like that) up on Hempstead Tpk across from the Target shopping center (not across Hempstead Tpk - but the other road - Wantagh ave?)
Sometimes it was a long wait though.

I would call a few mechanics in the area and ask ahead of time if you can wait. If I bring it in 1st thing in the AM, they let me wait.

I know Division Ave Car Care use to do it! Not sure if they still do! Thats where I usually take my car! Hope this helps!

Mobil in N bellmore on Newbridge border of east meadow,( By firehouse and terra homes models) if they can't take u right then and there ask them when u can come back and wait with the car.HTH

What kind of car do you have, I have a ford and have brought it to the ford dealership on Gardiners. You can wait, there is also a dealership on Hempstead turnpike for Honda and crystler. The price will be the same everywhere you go, it is $37.00. I just had mine done yesterday.

Thanks everyone - I went to Monroe near the hospital in east meadow - Only $10 because it was the first inspection, so they only check for safety
