Places to stay for a weekend in April....

My husband and I are going to be able to get away for a few days in April....but we have no idea where to go.
I was thinking of somewhere out on Eastern Long Island, but I have no idea where.....

Any suggestions would be welcome!!

A weekend in Montauk?

Gurney's Inn or Montauk Manor is nice. If you want the Hamptons I liked Enclave Inn. You can shop and eat in Bridgehampton or Montauk. You can get great couples Spa treatments at Gurney's fantastic Spa whether you stay there or not. There's a great horseback riding place in Montauk. There are the wineries on the East End you can visit.

If you don't want to go that far out there's always a getaway at East Wind and then wineries and restaurants are right in that area as well.

If you want off the island I recommend New Hope, PA.

We went to the Woolverton Inn (yahoo it and check out their site!) in August and it was FANTASTIC!!!!! So romantic and SOOOO relaxing. We thought it would be EVEN better in the Winter/Spring! They have the coziest cottages - it was just great. HTH
