Plasma people
can you tell me what brand plasma you have and any pros cons? DH wants one for Christmas so I am starting my research and don't really know what to look for!

I just got DH an LCD. I got it through someone who works for one of the "big boys" (FM for details)...
She previously worked for another one of the "big boys" and said that both companies agreed that for the time being, LCD is better...however, that will change over time

the cons I heard were burn in issues and the plasma works on hot gasses, so it sucks up a LOT of electricity.

LCD- Sony 40 inch Bravia - so far we love it, and then a sony 23 inch lcd in the bdrm...pretty good as well, but the picture is still better on the Bravia.

Thank you for posting that I had never head it before! the 'burn in' problems may have been resolved with the new models. you should do some research on epinions.com

hubby just ordered this one. he researched all types for 6+ months easily and PC Richards was having employee pricing, so he jumped on it.
