Plastic surgeon for breast reconstruction
Can anyone recommend a plastic surgeon - I had a skin sparing double mastectomy about a year ago and now have implants. I would like to do a revision and am looking for a new plastic surgeon, especially from anyone who has been through this before!

Dr. Mihye Choi. She did my implant surgery (and placed the expanders when I was getting my bilateral mastectomy) and I am very happy with them.

Plastic surgeon for breast reconstruction
I used Dr. Korn from Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Great Neck. He was amazing, all of the doctors in that practice are.

Thank you so much for your replies.
I should have mentioned I am looking to stay on LI. I did call Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Great Neck, but they said it wouldn't be covered. (I would have to use my out of network benefits). After looking at their website, I was soo disappointed to hear this. It looks like such a great place.
I met with Dr. Romanelli who seemed wonderful and gets great reviews as far as mommy makeovers, etc. But I don't know about reconstruction.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. Most of the plastic surgeons I wanted to use weren't in network with my insurance. Even out of network, aesthetic plastic surgery was pretty reasonable, but of course I don't know what your out of network benefits you have. Did they walk you through what you would pay out of pocket? When I went for a consultation, part of the appointment was sitting down with their financial department to go over that.

Thank you, nicole97.
I didn't get that far with anyone, except dr Romanelli. The consults were between $300-500, (except for Dr Romanelli who offered a free consult), so I did not even go to anyone since I do not feel comfortable spending that money on a consult on something that is not even totally necessary really.

I used Dr. Dobransky from Long Island Plastic Surgery Group - I didn't get my breasts done, but I've been very happy with the interactions with him, the office, etc.
