Platform beds...and Levitz furniture, either one you have any feedback come on in....
After many years of looking for a new bedroom set,( Both my parents have passed and I finally decided it was time to just get rid of the old set, which is beautiful and put it in a spare room and make it a guest room, it has taken me a long time to find something I liked...) I found one.... at levitz.... any feedback on them? also does anyone have a platform bed, and are they comfortable???? TIA The house is a work in progress.

I have a platform bed but not from levitz. I love it, although I do miss the storage space.
ETP - as far as being comfortable, I thought it was a bit too hard. But that has more to do with the mattress than the platform. I added a pillowtop and its perfect now.

No info on beds, but I had an awful delivery experience with Levitz for a cofee table.

We have a queen platform bed in the guest room that was ordered from Seamans (which is now Levitz) from about 6 years ago.
It's still in good condition.
We put a boxspring under the mattress so it feels like any other bed.

We bought our bedroom set from Levitz...while I love our furniture, it took six months for everything to be delivered.

I have a platform bed and I love it. The mattress sits inside the frame so it has eliminated that problem that I always had with the king comforter not going down to cover the king mattress sides.

We also had a lot of delivery problems with Levitz. Our couch was delayed about 3 months...They kept setting a delivery date, then would call and cancel it.

No, when we placed the order, we were told it was in stock. We received a notification the day before it was to be delivered that there were "factory issues" and the delivery date would have to be changed. We wound up receiving a piece a month for six months.

I have had 2 bedroom sets, couches and a dining room table from Levitz and NEVER had one problem.

WE got our bedroom set from Levitz during the labor day no payment no interest until 2009 sale and we are please so far. Delivery was done in less than 3 days and came on time. There was nick in one of the dressers and they sent someone out the next day to fix it. We purchased the extra insurance too. I don't know if it will be a waste but I think it is for 7 years and we figured with moving and kids something will likely get damaged in that time.

I have two pieces of furniture I bought 4 years ago that I am now throwing away.
As far as platform beds, go lay on a bunch and see if you really like them

No experience with bedroom furniture, but we did buy our couches at Levitz
We went in on a Sunday and they were delivered that Friday - no problems
They were in stock so I think that helped

Hi...
I work at the Levitz Corp. office and they are getting much better. For the past couple of years they were having major $$ problems. They are doing much better as they have new owners with great $$ backing. It took a while, but they are back to the company they once were.
WOW.....sounds like I'm really sticking up for them.
