playtex drop ins: fast nipple?
Did your DC ever go to the fast nipple and if so when? DD is 8 months and still is not ready for the fast nipple. We've tried and she just spills everywhere.

to be completely honest, DS has been on the STage 2 nipples since he started using the drop ins (as an infant) I never saw the need to change them to the faster ones....he never sucked too hard or showed any signs of not getting the formula out quick enough.

We use the Born Free bottles, but DD is 7.5 months and still not ready for their "fast" nipple, which is labeled as their 6 month nipple. She also spills the milk every where when we try.

i decided not to try them. She is used to the slow and is fine with them so far at 5 months that I went up to medium, but I think I will stop there

DD is almost a year and we still use the medium flow. She is happy with it so there isn't any reason to switch.

If memory serves me right I think DD was on the fast nipple around that time too.

4 1/2 months we switched to fast. We found that he wasn't eating much and realized it was because he's very lazy!
