Please break me of my fashion RUT

My closet is FILLED w/ clothes from the SAME places: Old Navy (for casual, running errands), NY&Co (work clothes), Forever 21 (cheap trendy clothes). Mixed in I will have a few things from Bloomingdales and Banana.

I need an intervention LOL. Im SICK of all these stores. What other places offer clothes for women

ETA: how about online stores/sites you shop at? What are some good ones?

Re: Please break me of my fashion RUT

sounds like my closet
I do love Nordstroms! I even go to BP once in a while to get cute tops and it's cheaper. Some stuff is way to young for me.
I'd say I love Express too, but it's like the other stuff in your closet

Oh, I do love Annie Sez. THey have the best jeans and great prices. That's where I get my Sevens, Vigoss, and some others. My mom got a nice Michael Kors bag there too.

Oh, sorry... it's the Jr Dept at Nordstroms. Chat Icon I get some cute tanks there and stuff is cheaper then in the other departments. A lot of the stuff is too young, but like I said... some tops and sweaters

I get stuff from Land's End, ATL, sometimes dress barn if you can believe that..

I'm in a rut too but since I've lost weight and heading down still I want to expand my horizons.

eta: beginning to like Macy's again. Love INC and their Alfani brand.

For cheap stuff, Target. I even have a lot of work clothes from there and they last!

For designer variety, I like Century 21, Annie Sez, Norstrom Rack, and Off Fifth.

Oh and Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Filenes and Ross when I am down south.

I think Anthropologie is a good chain store that shakes up the other chain store clothing in your closet. Zara might be a good bet for work clothes as well. I think changing th type of clothes you associate with each part of your life might work too. Up until last year, I never wore dresses to work and now I love them! They are so easy to pull together. Just one piece and a few accessories, nice shoes. For errands, i love VS yoga pants. I think they're the greatest invention ever. lol.

Re: Please break me of my fashion RUT

When I'm thinner and WANT to shop and try things on and play - Century 21 and Annie Sez have great things !!

Right NOW, when I have an extra 20 lbs to lose -

I like the Limited for my suits
I find really cute casual dresses @ Target -

And twice a year, I hit the DVF sample sale - Her stuff is AWESOME, regardless of my size.

TJ Maxx and Filene's Basement. I find lots of good blouses for work and casual on the racks there. Also dresses, capris, and accesories!

Re: Please break me of my fashion RUT

Anthropolgie, J Crew, Urban Outfitters and Marshalls and Target are where I find most of my favorite things. I am not crazy about dept. stores, but Bloomingdales is definitely my favorite. I have also gone to the woodbury outlets to get some new pieces to spruce things up.

I'm a big ATL fan, but I also love BR, H&M for cheap trendies and I USED to love JCrew...I'm switching to more quality clothing from Bloomies and Nordstrom.
