Please critique my at home Baptism party food
We are having a small family at home party for DD's baptim in May for 21 adults and 7 kids. i will be cooking everything. Please critique my menu items...
appetizers:
crudite spinach dip in pumpernickel bread cheese and crackers chips/pretzels with dip
Entrees: Garden Salad Chicken Marsala Eggplant Parm meat balls Penne Al la Vodka
Chicken nuggets and FF for kids
Dessert: Cupcake Tower assorted cookies fruit salad
beer, wine soda and juice

YUMMY!!
how about buying a big package from Costco/Bjs of hot appetizers? like pigs in the blanket, quiches, etc.? I'd be sure to put out some fresh rolls or bread as well and I would do another veggie or rice with veggies maybe?

how about buying a big package from Costco/Bjs of hot appetizers? like pigs in the blanket, quiches, etc.? I'd be sure to put out some fresh rolls or bread as well and I would do another veggie or rice with veggies maybe?
what about sauted broccoli?

how about roasted broccoli & cauliflower. cut it up with some garlic, through it on a sheet tray with EVOO and bake for 25 min. I also sqeeze fresh lemon juice on it when its done.

I agree with the second veg though I would just throw it in the oven rather than sautee...asparagus is great for that.
other than that. looks good.

That sounds amazing!!!
I agree, I would add one vegetable side to all that food, and maybe one hot appetizer/finger food in the beginning. But it sounds great.
