Please don't move this...Shea stadium related.
Since NFR has more traffic and I ma leaving soon, I figured I would post this here.
DH, DD our Doggie and I are going to "dog night" at Shea tonight. The question is this...
Should I get there more than an hour earlier if I want to park at Shea stadium, instead of satellite parking?
With DD and my dog, I want to be as close as possible to the stadium.
What are your thoughts? TIA
ETA: I ask because of the construction at Shea.

go early b/c there isnt as much parking b/c of the construction... plus normally some people take the train but if they are bringing there dogs too they wont be.. so parking will be even harder.

I figured that, thank you.
So, I plan on getting there at 5:30. Does that sound right to you? DH is taking the train from NYC and meeting us there.
Also, does anyone know if you can bring a stroller into shea? This is DD's first game and she is 16 months old.

I plan on leaving at 3:30 from exit 16 off the throughway. It takes me about an hour w/o traffic so I figured I will get there by 5:30 I hope and pray.

Do you have an umbrella stroller, those arent as bulky and easy to fold up if you cant bring in. I think bags they seem to be more strict on..

Thanks again. Dh and I have not been to a game in over two years (with the pregnancy, baby, heart surgery, etc., etc.) so I have not clus as to what they let in baby wise. You have to see everything I packed for DD, you would think we were going away for the weekend!
