Please, everybody keep an eye on the sky today- weather not good
Those going to the Laurie Berkner concert **should** be okay because it's early. (However, we have an unstable atmosphere all day.) But as we get into the afternoon we have a chance for very strong storms to be hitting our area. Please be very careful today and don't take anything for granted, especially with your kids!
If you are going out for the day, strap objects down outside. Also, don't leave your pets out.

Where did you see this? I just checked News12 and it just says hot and humid no rain or wind.

I guess if I should believe anything I hear about the weather I should certainly believe you!!
Thanks for the warning - we were going to go to the races in Riverhead tonight - you think it will be pretty bad by 6pm and later?

Tonight is date night. We were planning on going to an out door restaurant ...ughhh! I won't be able to get a sitter for three weeks if we don't do it tonight.

when does the show start? DH has a 12:00 tee time and is hoping he can get through 9 holes at least (1.5-2 hours) - he's been watching the weather like a hawk since last night. He did say large hail is expected though!
