Please guide me...where should I take my kids for chistmas pics?
I really only want to get a good pic. or two and then make my own card on shutterfly or something. I wanted to do it at home but I know they will not sit still long enough for me to do it myself. They are almost 19mos and into everything. Where should I go that it won't break the bank for a few shots? TIA

Hicks nursery has benches and great areas for photo ops.

Hicks nursery has benches and great areas for photo ops.
I think it's a beautiful location but you need to go pretty early otherwise you're taking 2 - 19 month olds into a crowded nursery.

I went yesterday at about 330/4 pm with my mom and it was empty I think maybe there were 2 or 3 parents taking photos of their kids all dressed up. There are tons of benches in front of trees etc to get pics. We already had DD's Christmas pictures but it was a cute location. DD loved to just walk around. Santa btw is there until 5 and there was no line. He is free btw and you can take all the pictures you like with him.

target (went to Setauket) is reasonable price wise and we liked DSs 10 month/halloween pics there. Now sure how much the CD is though
We went to sears (Lake Grove) and with teh CD it was the same price wise as KK would have been. I like the pics the photographer was good, but I am not in love with the background
JCP (Bay Shore) is reasonable and but we had an issue with one of their photographers barely trying to get a good pic. We complained they let another photographer do the pic and she was much better - again not sure what the CD price is
KK was my favorite so far they have their pkgs on their website, I went there for DS 3mth/baptism pics, we spent about $150 with the CD.
