PLEASE HELP - Please recc a company that comes in and inspects your home for openings to the outside - mice related...
We found a mouse (on a trap we put for spiders) in our basement and we found the hole to the outside and got it all sealed up. We thought that was it. Now we found another mouse in our laundry room (again on a trap). I'm beyond skeeved and ready to move out. I am not looking for just an exterminator - i want someone to come and inspect the entire house to find ANYPLACE these rodents are getting in - PLEASE HELP!

We had a mouse problem too, and unfortunately their is never just one mouse. We hired an exterminator and they will try and find out where they are coming in from (they can squeeze through an opening the size of a dime!) and seal it up usually with steel wool because they don't like that. They will also put traps out. It's been a few months and nothing so far (I think it is 4 months now). We did catch 4 or 5 mice from when the exterminators were here. Now, that the weather is getting cooler they are looking for place to keep warm. I would call someone sooner rather than later because they really multiply quickly.

I used this company:
Link.
They'll come the same day and give u a free estimate. We had a mouse in our basement and they came and did a complete inspection of our house (inside and outside) for evidence and access points. He was soooo honest; he actually told us that he didn't see any other evidence of rodents and 1 mouse must have just found its way inside. He didn't charge us a dime.
Now I can go back in my basement to do laundry!

We had a mice issue. We used Suburban Exterminating. They come, inspect and give you a quote. BUt keep in mind that all exterminators I called make you sign year contract and they cost a good penny. However, they come no matter how many times you need them. When they first started they came every other day to check the traps. Once there was no activiity and we figured out the entry point they came once a week and then once a month.
It also covers all other insects that I may have an issue. Inside and outside. I had huge bee issues and they helped with that too. I kept the contract for peice of mind.

We just used Suburban Exterminating to get rid of mice and they were excellent. They got rid of them all and I couldn't be happier. We signed a contract for their "green" service and I highly recommend them - they got rid of everything - no mice, spiders or bugs.

that's who we used. my mom was in the hospital for a few months and her house was empty. we would just run over and take the mail and newspaper in. when she came back there were a bunch of mice that were getting in but we couldn'[t figure out where. Suburban came the same day and found the hole. they put a ton of traps and bait down, and came back weekly until they thought they got most if not all of them. then they sealed the hole. they waited to seal it since they used bait. they die sometime after eating it, and it didn't seem like they were actually living in the house, so if they closed the hole, they would get stuck inside and die they were excellent and not that expensive!!

I highly recommend Sam at Gotcha Pest Control. You can call him at (718) 456-5601 . He's based in Queens but comes out to Long Island too.
He does a whole house inspection, literally getting down on his hands and knees, moves appliances (and cleans up behind there!) and looks at every little crevice, from the basement to the attic.
Not only that, but he doesn't try to upsell you on a year long contract. You pay a very reasonable one-time price and then he guarantees his work! So after he comes, if you have any issues, you just call him up and he comes out for free.
I saw a mouse and FREAKED out. Sam came (he's really nice too) and took care of the problem, finding the entry point and closing it off. He is seriously the reason we don't have to move (I'm not exaggerating).
Good luck!
