please help! 8mths fell hard and throwing up-now acting normal
Hi-
Chelsea took a tumble while crusing ( holding on to her saucer from the outside) and hit her head on the hardwood floor very hard. What really scared me is that she threw up violently all over both of us. She falls all the time since she started pulling up but the throw up is new. Now shes acting like her normal hyper active self but I want to know what signs to look for -when is a fall more than a fall? What signs will tell me its more serious and take her to the ER? I'm waiting for a call back from her ped.

if she threw i prob would have taken her in... but im a worry wort like that!

If she is throwing up I would call the dr. Throwing up after hitting your head could be a sign of concussion. They may want to examine her.

Recently my DD fell really hard - my dr. mentioned that if she was throwing up she could have a concussion - so I would DEF. call the dr!!

I would take her too, even if she is better now. See what your ped says if you are unsure.

DS has definetely had his spills on my tile floor and has never thrown up. My ped. said I should be concerned and call him if he throws up or falls unconcious. I would take her to the ER.
