Please help me finish my 1st bday party menu
It's only for about 30 people, all family, half of which are kids
Apps: cheese/crackers veggie tray spinach dip in bread bowl chips/dip pigs in a blanket ?something else
Late Lunch -Sub sandwiches/wraps -potato salad -homemade mac & cheese -swedish meatballs -chicken fingers & fries for the kids -?a green salad or something else, I was thinking about making a spinach strawberry salad but I don't know if that's too summery ?more
Dessert -cake -brownies

What about a pasta dish. Even if you do a cold one. Pasta is filling!

I made a cold torteliini salad for DS's 1st bday and it was a big hit. It all went.

I made it for 80 people so I bought the big bag from costco (5 lb bag I think)
feta cheese shredded carrots marinated artichokes black olives broccoli red or green pepper
toss with regular wishbone italian dressing and a big splash of red vinegar (if you want)
I think there are more ingredients, but I can't think right now. Really, just add/take out whatever you like or don't like.
